I consider myself to be a brain detective. I love to work with children and their adult support systems to figure out how a child’s brain works, what strengths they possess, and what possible weaknesses may be hindering development. I offer consultation and assessment with a problem-solving focus so that parents can receive high quality evaluation and tailored intervention planning. Most parents really just want to know what to do to help their kids most successfully grow into functional, happy, and productive adults. That is what drives the services that I provide and is the focus of my practice.

My goal when providing such services for children, adolescents, and their families, it to offer a range of experiences from several types of professional placements including school districts, private psychological practice, outpatient clinics, and in-patient children’s hospitals. I am able to provide children and their families with a unique perspective and set of skills that emerges from a specialization in neuropsychology combined with an understanding of child development, psychological theory, and special education law. 

My goal when working with any family is to provide consultation, assessment, and treatment planning for a wide range of neurological and developmental problems including history of traumatic brain injury (TBI), brain tumors, infectious diseases such as encephalitis and meningitis, stroke, arteriovenous malformation, anoxia, seizure disorders, genetic disorders (Tuberous Sclerosis, Neurofibromatosis, Fragile X, etc.), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD-with and without hyperactivity), learning disabilities (including Cross-Battery Assessment/processing strengths and weakness analysis), and autism spectrum disorders.
